Maria D. Santiago Ed.D.
Calm and Mindful, LLCMaria received her Doctor of Education specializing in Reading, Literacy and Assessment at Walden University on December 2023. Maria received the 2023-2024 New Jersey Governor’s Professional Education Services of the Year Award for SCVTHS and the 2024 Walden University Leadership of Excellence Award given to a doctoral graduate. She was selected as Unstoppable Woman by Telemundo TV Channel in September 2024 as part of a National project lead by Telemundo where Latinas that are making a difference are being recognized and broadcasted.
Maria was appointed as Research Associate for the World Bank since 2020. She is coOwner of Calm and Mindful, LLC. She is Fellow and Councilor elected representing USA at the Royal Society of Arts and Manufacturers since 2021. Maria wrote Chapter 7: “Inclusive Education and Impact on Girls” in the academic textbook “Gender Equity: Global Policies and Perspectives on Advancing Social Justice“ - edited by Harvard Professors Elena V. Shabliy, Kimarie Engerman, Dmitry Kurochkin
